Disintegrations

Disintegrations are recent works combining Fabrications (fabric collages) and paint.

“Disintegrations” are paintings built from fabric quilts that contain clothing & related items, with a top layer of paint / graffiti / destruction.

They represent the Buddhist cycle of disintegration, suggesting that we are living at the end of a golden age, and questioning whether we will make it as a species.
